Have just walked the Cotswold Way and the Southern Upland Way, a distance of some 330 miles in total. Used Fox River socks (Sierra & Trail) for the first time and was very impressed with the performance. Comfortable, hardwearing, maintained their shape after repeated washing and dried overnight. More expensive than other well known brands but well worth the extra cost.

I recently bought several pairs of Fox River socks especially for a walking trip in Scotland, both for myself and my husband. All I can say is that these socks are absolutely the best I've ever had and perform exactly as the web site says. I am now going back to buy more for myself, husband and also for my brother for his birthday, and hopefully spread the word about these great socks.

Equipment that most surpassed our expectations Excerpt taken from www.primaljourney.com
More people have successfully trekked unsupported to the South Pole than the Great Wall. This expedition sees the longest ever trek along the Wall and with a world first of attempting a winter crossing, this is truly a spectacularly unique challenge.
KATIE: The ‘Fox River’ socks that we were sponsored with last minute, thay are faultless and completely outclass the other top brands we had already bought and brought with us.
TARKA: Ditto, having not heard of the make before, I had little expectations of them, they are now however, are brand choice for all future expeditions.

It is often said that if it was not for a particular item of clothing the expedition would have not been the great success it was.
As a mountaineer and outdoor pursuits instructor I have to say if it was not for the quality of the Fox River socks which were supplied to me by Fox River to use initially on the Pennine Way charity walk way back in 1991, I would never have known and appreciated the sheer quality and importance of having a product so good that they never let you down.
I have used Fox River socks since 1991 on every occasion because I know they will not let me down, be that a 25 mile walks across Dartmoor, 278 mile walks across Wales or 8 week high altitude expeditions to Peru, Bolivia and recently Nepal.
My unblistered and intact feet are a testiment to the brilliance of this life preserving product and I have great pleasure in being associated with it

"My husband & I recently agreed to do the Yorkshire 3 peaks hike, and with only a few gentle strolls and too many years under our belts I decided that some new socks were a must. We bought some of your light hiking socks and although practically numb from the waist down when we finished, neither of us has sore feet or blisters. We’ve just bought more for a friend and would recommend them to anyone."
Thanks Jane !!!
